Set of 8 small incense cones shaped as mountains (scent inspired by Jeju pine, oranges, volcanic ash, and saltwater), pine wood engraved box, lava rock burner, matchbook(1/10 limited run)
“Magma” is an olfactory installation that intertwines the sensory elements of incense, smoke, and volcanic geology to create an immersive exploration of Jeju's dynamic landscape. At the heart of the installation, a series of sculptural incense forms mimic the rugged terrain of Jeju's volcanic landscape, while the smoke is an ever-shifting element- creating ephemeral patterns that evoke the intangible beauty of volcanic eruptions and the elusive nature of time itself. The incense chosen for this installation is carefully selected to mirror the rich, earthy scents of Jeju’s landscape of Jeju pine, oranges, volcanic ash, and saltwater.
